Online Oil and Gas Map of Wyoming
The Wyoming State Geological Survey's Online Oil and Gas Map of Wyoming is updated as new information becomes available. This interactive map displays oil and gas infrastructure throughout Wyoming, including oil and gas wells; oil and gas fields and their producing reservoirs, hydrocarbon products, and production status; hydrocarbon processing facilities such as refineries and gas plants; and pipelines. Information regarding oil and gas development and leasing on federal lands are also available. Subsurface formation tops, contours, and characteristics are included for important reservoirs in select basins, while Precambrian basement contours provide structural context to all of Wyoming’s basins. The map and its data layers are free and available for use by the public.
