Geologist

We are looking for an inquisitive geologist who wants to apply their enthusiasm and skills to understanding the state’s geology, and who aspires to make a positive impact by studying Wyoming’s natural resources. As a Geologist I (ENGE 08) with the Wyoming State Geological Survey, you’ll dive into interesting geological investigations and special projects primarily focusing on economic geology. From identifying critical minerals to mapping aggregate resources, your work will directly contribute to the stewardship of Wyoming's vast geological treasures.

3D Geologic Mapper

We’re seeking an inquisitive (and maybe a little tech-obsessed) geologist to join our team. Multiuse of the subsurface is a rising challenge in earth sciences—now is the time to ensure that subsurface carbon sequestration, groundwater, oil and gas development, geothermal energy, enhanced oil recovery, and hydrogen storage are working together for cooperative and safe use of pore space. You'll use your skills to crack the code on Wyoming's unique subsurface environment, contributing to critical studies of our state's valuable resources.
