Patty Webber began working at the Wyoming State Geological Survey (WSGS) in 2018 as a contract employee working on a STATEMAP project. In March 2019, she joined the WSGS full time as a geologist in the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.
Patty has a B.S. in geology and geophysics from Purdue University and an M.S. in geoscience from the University of Iowa. Her background is in geochronology, tectonics, and structural geology, with additional work in basin analysis, petrography, thermobarometry, trace element geochemistry, and metamorphic petrology. Outside of work, Patty enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, baking, and doing a variety of craftwork.
