Jim began working at the Wyoming State Geological Survey (WSGS) in 2006 as a contract employee working on coalbed methane and carbon sequestration projects. In January 2010, he joined the staff of the WSGS as an analyst for the WSGS's Hazards, Mapping, and Water Resources division. He now works across divisions at the WSGS, including Hazards, Mapping and Water Resources, Energy and Mineral Resources, and Outreach and Publications.
Jim has a B.S. degree in engineering from the University of Wyoming.
