Tammy joined the WSGS in 2019 as the administration manager. She attended the University of Wyoming (UW), earning a bachelor’s degree in geography and a minor in American Indian studies. Previous to joining the Wyoming State Geological Survey team, Tammy worked four years in the UW’s Department of Geology and Geophysics, and another 18 years in various capacities at the university, including at the Ruckelshaus Institute, Multicultural Affairs, and student aid offices. During her free time, Tammy is in her garden, or spending time outdoors with her corgi Maxx.
In her current position, Tammy oversees the administration division and serves as the on-site HR liaison with the Cheyenne offices. In addition, she administers the agency's budget and assists with the grant processes.
